Walk the Walk in Wedges

I remember my first pair of real heels I ever wore were silver with glitter that I bought from Baker's in 2003. I wore them on prom night, and you better believe that was the last time I wore them too. My feet were only accustomed to my comfortable sneakers and I knew that trying to wear anything that didn't keep me flat on the ground was not in my near future...or so I thought. Hanging out with the girls on the weekends made we realize that wearing heels wasn't a bad thing, and what made them better was falling in love with wedges.

Yes, wedges are the closest shoe that I enjoy wearing when I'm looking for allday comfort. Most of you know what I'm talking about. You have those killer heels but you only wear them when you don't plan on doing a lot of walking, standing, and dancing...save yourself the embarassment from whining and crying about sore, pinched feet.

I would have to say that some of the greatest benefits that come with a great wedge are comfort, balance, height, and style. Of course, these are no-brainers and if you don't wear wedges, you might want to start. Your aching feet will thank you.

Lets not forget that almost anything with a thick, chunky heel is in!!!

Here are some walkable wedges that are trending this season.
